MCA Special Products Truckers Jukebox #1 picks up where the Columbia series left off offering a different spin on hardcore honky tonk favorites of truckers -- namely one where the MCA vaults are the focus not the Columbia vaults. Truth be told in terms of overall effect the differences are minute since the collection -- like its Columbia cousins -- is brief and a little uneven yet still enjoyable. After all a collection that boasts Conway Twitty s Tight Fittin Jeans Merle Haggard s Red Bandana Waylon Jennings Rose in Paradise Brenda Lee s All Alone Am I Patsy Cline s Sweet Dreams John Anderson s If It Ain t Broke Don t Fix It Marty Stuart s Hillbilly Rock and Tanya Tucker s San Antonio Stroll isn t all bad and will certainly excuse the presence of Lee Greenwood s God Bless the USA.
