Earth is one of Sub Pop s most apocalyptic bands known mostly for distorted guitar ambience undercurrents of multiple guitars the occasional 8 minute guitar opus and a play-loud metal ethic. Led into battle with their instruments and various household appliances by visionary Dylan Carlson this post-industrial band at one time featured Kurt Cobain (Nirvana - as if you didn t know) and famed Seattle-area bassists Joe Preston and Dave Harwell.
