Winter Aconite are also known as buttercups. These native European woodland plants can be grown by anybody and require little skill level. They are among the earliest to flower and produce a bright display especially when planted in large numbers. It makes for an effective ground cover plant as it spreads quickly. They bloom at the same time as our snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis) producing a sea of pure golden yellow. They would look great planted together as both are woodland plants.
