A short but very profound and compelling book about my grandparents and the stories of their lives. A lot of research with the help of my mother my sister and my Aunt to find out exactly who my grandparents were in their early years. My Grandmother Harriet; a slow learner in life let s just say couldn t cope with the amount of children she went on to have. At one point the nurses in the hospital smothered one of her twin boys; killing him. This lead Harriet to roam the streets in the hope of finding her child. Phyllis; Harriet s daughter had a very sad and complicated life. This book was completed with the hope of understanding more about the family; where they came from and how they fitted into the family tree.
