This sliding window lock is constructed of an extruded aluminum housing with a diecast cam-action lever. Comes in an white finish. The design of this lock is manufactured to fit on older style metal framed horizontal sliding windows; usually of single pane glass with a maximum fin thickness of 3/16 in. For vinyl windows consider using Prime-Line parts U 9809 or U 10547. This lock can be used to securely lock windows in closed or ventilating positions.
