One of the original members of Harry Babasin s Jazzpickers Dempsey Wright was an excellent string player doubling on guitar and violin. On this recording he plays guitar exclusively and will be a welcome discovery for appreciators of the guitar styles of Barney Kessel Howard Robert and other Los Angeles based stylists of the late 1950 s.
