POWER KLEEN is the only product recommended to clean K&N cotton media filters—the use of any other cleaning solution can void the filter’s warranty and can potentially cause damage to the filtration material. Never use gasoline to clean your cotton media filter as it can cause the filter media to degrade. Do not use on polished or anodized aluminum.
