Perry Ellis was a famous fashion designer in the 70’s and 80’s. In the 70’s his sportswear lines gained huge success reaching a peak in 1978 when he introduced his own brand. Among the products Perry Ellis manufactures are women’s and men’s clothing shoes accessories and fragrances. His first perfume was launched in 1985. After Ellis s death in 1986 the company hired some notable designers including Isaac Mizrahi Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford to continue the tradition of creating successful fragrances.
