The Meinl MC-CYS8 8 MM Cymbal Stacker allows you to safely separate your cymbals with out damaging stacked cymbals with out scratching or weakening the bell. The bell of the cymbal is the raised part of the cymbal in the center with a hole through which a strap or cymbal stand can hold the cymbal. Hitting the bell of a cymbal usually creates a louder piercing tone compared to the bow (body) of the cymbal. These also make playing separate cymbals that are stacked much easier and set up and tear down takes only seconds.
