A multivolume autobiography in intimate snapshots and nudes Swedish photographer Lina Scheynius (born 1981) has spent nearly two decades relentlessly recording the scenes of her life with her film camera. Working in both color and black and white Scheynius compiles nude self-portraiture with intimate snapshots of family friends and lovers. The result is a chronological and deeply personal rendering of the artist s life. Taken between 1991 and 2018 the photographs also offer an unprecedented insight into the life of a 21st-century woman from the recklessness of young love to the wonder of motherhood. Between 2007 and 2019 Lina Scheynius organized her expansive photographic archive into 11 self-published books which have received international acclaim.
