0724353455026. New condition. CD. After releasing two volumes in two successive years in 1996 and 1997 Capitol waited until 2001 to release the third volume in its Slow Jams Christmas series. Like past volumes Slow Jams Christmas Vol. 3 focuses on soul and quiet storm performers like the Stylistics Patti LaBelle Bobby Womack the O Jays and Eartha Kitt. There are only 12 songs on this collection but they re all by top-notch performers and are primarily well-known favorites like Santa Claus Is Coming to Town Silver Bells and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. The first two volumes definitely featured the cream of the crop. This collection is still loaded with great songs though and is nearly as impressive as its predecessors. ~ Jason Birchmeier Rovi
