Stir with a fork to separate, reduce heat, and simmer covered until kale is tender and crisp, approximately 10 to 13 minutes. Drain and season to taste. Microwave: Place frozen chopped kale and 2 tablespoons of water into a 1-quart casserole dish. Cover and microwave for 8-1/2 to 9-1/2 minutes, stirring once about halfway through cooking period.
