This openback banjo model is a professional quality instrument offing many of the same features found on much higher priced instruments and packs an unreal tone for its low cost. For a sweet frailing or clawhammer tone the MM-150 is our original open back and has been very well received. This model features an accurate replica of the vintage and highly sought after 3-part White Ladye tone ring coupled with a 1/2 rim for maximum air chamber volume. Other features include a maple neck rosewood fingerboard with snowflake inlays and a frailing scoop vintage Friabanks-style headstock design planetary tuners 11 Renaissance head Vega-style armrest and No Knot tailpiece. Final assembly and complete setup performed at the Gold Tone Factory in Florida.
